Digital Download Basics
Some common questions about downloading digital products.
I thought these were digital products. Why am I being asked for my address?
All Laser Shark products are digital. However, we need your address information for billing purposes.
How will I receive my digital purchase?
Upon completing your purchase you will be immediately emailed a link to your download(s). If you don't receive your downloads, wait 15 minutes. You may also want to check your email spam folder. If you still haven't received your purchase, please contact us.
Do my download links expire/have a download limit?
Your download links don't expire but have a 5 time download limit from the link in your email.
I see you have a mobile site. Can I download my purchases on mobile?
While you may browse and purchase from any version of our site, please be aware that the majority of our products are delivered as compressed ZIP files. That means you'll need to extract them to get to your actual files. While this is easy on a desktop/laptop, it can be tricky on mobile, and may require an app to work. So yes, you can download your purchases on a mobile device, but we don't necessarily recommend it.
I need a new download link because I lost my link, my computer broke and I lost all my files, etc.
If you lose your link and need a new one within 45 days of your purchase, just contact us. After that point, it is our policy not to provide new download links. We suggest that you backup your files in the cloud or on an external device for safety.
Laser Cut File Basics
Some common questions about laser cut files.
What file format is included?
All files come as SVG but other file formats can be given if requested.
I can’t see the files/they won’t open anywhere.
Make sure to extract all files from the ZIP folder (AKA “unzip” the folder) before trying to view/use them.
Are laser cut files compatible with a cricut?
The files are compatible, but as for each project - it depends! Many of our projects will work great with a cricut and many other cutting devices.
I opened the files in Lightburn and the project changed size.
Our SVG files are all created in Adobe Illustrator. Lightburn needs to be adjusted from the default to import at the intended size. Google Lightburn DPI settings to learn more.

Can I sell the products I make with The Laser Shark files?
Yes! Please feel free to sell anything you make with our files. We just ask you don't resell or distribute the files in any manner.
I want to return my purchase! What do I do?
Unfortunately due to the nature of digital downloads returns or exchanges are not accepted. Didn't receive the file? Let us know and we'll be happy to resend.
